Here When You Need Answers

From preparing for an appointment to understanding payments, prescriptions and pet care, find practical information to help you feel informed and prepared when visiting our clinic.

How do I book an appointment?

Book online through our booking portal any time, or call us on 02 9621 4984 and our team will find a time that suits.

What do I do if it's an emergency?

Call us straight away so we know you're on your way, or come straight down if you can't call ahead. Outside our opening hours, contact SASH Prospect on 02 8609 9444.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday 9:00am - 7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm, and closed Sundays.

What payment options do you offer?

We offer GapOnly for insured pets, plus MediPay, VetPay and Zip Pay/Zip Money for treatment costs. Ask our team which option suits your situation - each has different terms.

I'm a new client - what should I bring to my first visit?

Bring any previous vet records if you have them, a list of current medications, and your pet's microchip details if known. If it's a puppy or kitten, we'll also talk you through vaccinations and microchipping.

How do I prepare my pet for surgery?

We'll give you specific instructions when your pet's procedure is booked, which usually includes fasting from a set time the night before. If you're ever unsure, give us a call - we'd rather answer a quick question than have you guess.

Can I get a repeat prescription without an appointment?

For some ongoing medications, yes - call us and we'll check whether your pet needs a check-up first or whether we can arrange a refill.

Do you offer puppy preschool?

Yes, run in partnership with Pups Academy - a five-week course covering socialisation, core commands and everything new puppy owners need to know. Call us to find out when the next intake starts.

Is pet insurance worth it?

We think so - vet care isn't subsidised the way human healthcare is, so insurance can make a real difference if something unexpected comes up. Ask our team for guidance on choosing a policy that suits your pet.

Still have a question?

Get in touch with us - we're always happy to talk it through, whatever it is.
